As the new CAHME website continues to develop
this page will be used to facilitate on-line submissions of documents
for the CAHME Accreditation. These will include Statements of Eligibility;
Self-Study Documents, and Progress Reports. That is in development.
On April 16, 2007 the CAHME Board of Directors approved
Fall 2008 Criteria
for Accreditation proposed by the CAHME
Standards Council. These criteria go into effect for programs
entering their self-study year in July 2007. Programs with Site
Visits in Spring 2008 have the option to use either the Fall 2004
or the Fall 2008 Criteria.
The Fall 2008 Self
Study Handbook has been redesigned to reduce redundancy and
includes the following features:
- Expanded glossary
- Helpful interpretations for each criterion
- Simplified charts and tables
- List of requirements to satisfy each criterion
- Reduced submission of hard copy material
