Executive Committee:
The Executive Committee acts in lieu of the board

Finance and Audit Committee:
The Finance and Audit Committee reviews the ongoing
financial performance of CAHME and has oversight of the board's
investment policy.

Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee is responsible for informing
professional and practitioner health and medical organizations on
the benefits of supporting graduate healthcare management education.
Ideally, these organizations would decide to support CAHME by becoming
a Corporate Member or making a significant donation.

Governance Committee:
The Governance Committee acts as the nominating
committee and is responsible for identifying potential candidates
for board, council and committee assignments. They are responsible
for board orientation and other board development activities.

Strategic Issues Committee:
The Strategic Issues Committee monitors the progress
of the organization toward meeting the objectives stated in the
CAHME Metrics for Success. The committee also identifies issues
and ideas that need to be considered as part of the long range planning
process.

Candidacy Committee:
The Candidacy Committee is responsible for
the qualification and encouragement of graduate programs in the
candidacy and pre-accreditation process as defined in the CAHME
Policies and Procedures. The committee also maintains a list of
qualified CAHME endorsed consultants who are available to work with
programs.

Self Study Handbook Committee
The Self Study Handbook Committee, under instruction from the Standards
Council, is responsible for the revision and currency of the Self
Study Handbook.

Accreditation Council:
Accreditation Council shall oversee the accreditation
process and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on individual

Standards Council:
The Standards Council shall maintain and continuously
improve the accreditation standards and shall recommend standards
for approval by the Board of Directors. All Criteria for Accreditation
will be reviewed thoroughly by the Standards Council at least every
four years. The Standards Council will function within a charge,
mission, and policy framework as set by the Board of Directors.
